LobbyWatch Azerbaijan was founded in France in 2023 with the aim of uncovering Azerbaijan's influence strategies in France and elsewhere in the world.
Azerbaijan, a quasi-totalitarian dictatorship since its independence in 1991, has been trying for several decades to make people forget its crimes against its own population, but also against that of its neighboring country, Armenia, by buying support abroad.
